One person, four workstreams
Brand, build, search and security are held by the same head at the same time. That’s not a staffing constraint I’m apologising for — it’s the reason the defects between them get caught.
About
I’m Jacob Wilson. I run marketing for a company where the ad budget is real money and somebody asks what it produced. That’s a different job than making things look good, and it’s why this studio ships with a proof layer attached.
Background
I studied Creative Media Design at New Mexico State — Adobe Creative Suite, motion graphics, 3D, web and UX, design systems, visual hierarchy. Then a B.S. in Marketing at Western Governors, finished in five months.
Between and since, the actual work: scaling paid return on ad spend from 3.3x to 5.3x across a $45,000-a-month multi-channel budget. Building a unified lead-attribution system on a Looker dashboard and a CRM API, across 1,500-plus leads, accurate to 99.94% against source data. Finding and cutting $168,000 in annualised marketing waste. Recovering $88,419 in sold revenue inside 30 days by deploying an automation platform properly.
None of that is design work. All of it is why I can tell an owner what a brand is worth in dollars instead of adjectives.
How the work gets done
Brand, build, search and security are held by the same head at the same time. That’s not a staffing constraint I’m apologising for — it’s the reason the defects between them get caught.
The production work — colour extraction from artwork, link-audit rule sets, image pipelines, metadata scrubbing, production verification — runs through an agentic coding workflow in Claude Code. It’s why a solo studio quotes weeks where an agency quotes quarters.
Numbers get checked against the live origin after launch. Schema gets validated. Links get audited by label as well as status code. If I can’t verify a claim, it doesn’t go on the page.
On “bold”
ForgeBrands looks the way it looks because it’s my own brand and I get to be loud. Yours might need to be quiet. A dentist, an estate attorney and a tasting room do not want the same voice, and pushing one house style onto all three is how studios end up with a portfolio that all looks the same.
What stays constant is the process: opinionated, fast, systemised, measured. What changes is the output — dialled to the people you’re actually selling to.
